Troubleshooting


Binfer device is not seen on the admin console or is showing offline in the devices view.

Binfer service did not start for some reason. It needs to be force started.

  1. Open the task manager as an administrator.
  2. Under the Processes tab, locate a process called Commons Daemon Service... > Binfer Service.
  3. Click it and then click the End task button.
  4. The process should disappear.
  5. Next open Services as an Administrator.
  6. Locate an entry called BinferService.
  7. Click it and then click Start.
  8. BinferService should show as running.
  9. Open the Binfer web management console.
  10. Click REFRESH on the top left devices area. The device status should be visible.
